What these technologies are
Cookies and local storage allow a website or service to remember information in a browser. The Tiny Acre currently uses local storage rather than a first-party advertising cookie for its own preference features. Third-party services may receive technical request data when their resources are used.
Necessary and functional storage
“tiny-acre-consent-v1” remembers your privacy choices. “tiny-acre-weather-v1” temporarily stores local weather so the site does not request location and weather data on every refresh. “tiny-acre-planner” remembers planner checkmarks, and “tiny-acre-flock-calculator-v1” remembers calculator inputs. The weather entry expires after approximately ten minutes; planning entries remain until replaced or cleared. Clearing site data removes these entries.
Optional categories
Analytics would help measure site use. Marketing would support advertising or conversion measurement. These optional categories are off by default and no optional analytics or advertising tracker is currently installed. If one is added, it should load only according to the preferences recorded through Cookie Settings.
Location and external requests
Browser geolocation is requested separately by your browser. If allowed, coordinates are sent to weather and reverse-geocoding providers to return current conditions and a nearby location name. Browser location permission is separate from cookie consent and can be revoked in browser settings.
Manage choices
Select Cookie Settings in the footer at any time. You can accept optional categories, keep only necessary storage, or revise a previous selection. Browser settings can also clear or block storage, although some requested features may stop remembering preferences.
